By listening to the song multiple times and looking at the bass guitar musical tab I am able to say that it is not playing the main riff.The beginning of the song is played by the electric guitar.The first instrument heard is the lead electric guitar and then drums, organ and then finally the bass guitar.You hear the riff of the song 5 times before the vocals enter the song.
